I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Boston, MA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I was referred to Slalom by a friend of mine who recommended the company very highly. From start to finish, I was very impressed with the quality of communication. The HR manager I worked with was professional, polite, and did an outstanding job representing the company.
I had three sets of interviews with consultants at the firm. Each of the interviewers had taken the time to review my application materials beforehand, and asked me some very good questions about what transferable skills I had acquired at each of my previous jobs, what made me passionate about my work, my understanding of the services the company provided, etc. The consultants seemed very pleased with their experience at Slalom and gave me a very positive impression of the firm.
We appreciate you taking a moment to leave your feedback here. We're glad you came away from the process having felt positive about your experience and overall impression of Slalom. Thank you!
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.
