      Consultant Interview

      Anonymous employee
      Washington, DC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Slalom (Washington, DC) in Aug 2017

      Interview

I went through several rounds of interviews with Slalom. It started casually with a recruiter who found me on LinkedIn and they extended an invitation just to chat over coffee. After that meeting, we both decided we'd be interested in talking more and I sent over my updated resume. Following that, I was scheduled for an hour and half long session to chat with 3 people. After those folks gave their feedback and I also expressed interest in moving forward, I had one more hour session set up with 2 more folks, one of which was the GM of the DC office. Then there was a month gap of checking in with the recruiter (and vice versa), where negotiations were starting, but key resources were OOO and they determined what project would be the best fit. In that time, I also spoke with one more person, just to get a feel for the company and personalities. While it took a few months to finalize, the recruiter was also open to chatting and would also stay in touch, even if the update was that discussions were happening internally, but nothing new to report.
