I attended a walk-in interview at Sutherland after being invited by HR. On the first day, I had to wait for almost 2 hours, but the HR was unavailable, so I was asked to return after 3 days.
On the second visit, the interview process began:
Round 1 (HR Interaction):
A short one-on-one discussion with HR. It was very casual—they asked simple questions like my bucket list. The conversation lasted around 5 minutes.
Round 2 (Group Discussion / JAM):
This was not a typical GD. A group of candidates was called, and each person had to introduce themselves and do a short JAM (Just A Minute) session. Based on communication skills, candidates were shortlisted for either voice or non-voice processes.
Round 3 (Manager Round):
Basic general questions were asked. This round was straightforward.
Final Round (Voice & Accent Test):
Candidates were assessed on voice and accent. Based on performance, they were assigned to English voice or regional language processes. I scored C1 level and qualified for the English voice process.
I was selected on the same day. I received the offer letter the next day, and my joining was scheduled immediately after.
Overall Experience:
The interview process was simple and easy. Strong communication skills are the key to getting selected.
