Good, think I did well. Helpful throughout the process, enjoyed talking to them. I was nervous but it went well in the end. Not too difficult. I don't have much else to say about the process
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Swiss Re (Zürich)
Interview
After spending half an hour on the phone for a screening interview and traveling one hour to Zurich on my day off (Basel public holiday) for a second round face to face, I was greeted by the rudest receptionist ever, then put in a huge meeting room sitting across the table from the hiring manager and with one more person connected onlibe from the UK. Questions were fine until they asked for the salary expectation and I gave a range that I know was appropriate as I happen to work in HR In Switzerland. They simple cut the meeting short, asked me if I had any questions and dismissed me after 45 minutes (out of One hour scheduled). A few days later I received an automated system rejection; no phone call or email from anybody. I followed up with an email to the person in recruitment who arranged the meeting and after a quick apology on her side, I was told that the HR business partner would contact me to provide feedback. Here I am, about 4 or 5 years later, still waiting for their feedback….
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Swiss Re (Singapore) in Oct 2025
Interview
Interesting first round video interview session which was not something that I have had experience before.
They adopted alot of new approaches which likely will become the norm moving forward.
