Simple interview process where conversational skills are necessary. This interview was done in 3 parts- one phone screening and two role play interviews with current managers of teams. The mantra is that Yelp can turn anyone into a sales rep so long as they are personable and can have a conversation.

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
It was a one time interview over video call with a pre call before. One on one with a training manager. Pretty simple not too hard at all. Lasted 30 minutes with questions and role plays.
