The PatientPoint leadership team is committed to fostering a culture that embraces hard work, fun, flexibility and entrepreneurship. There are few rules and boundaries by design.

In its more than 30-year history, PatientPoint has grown from a handful of employees to its current total of more than 400 in Cincinnati, Little Rock, Nashville and those working remotely across the country. And the company is growing exponentially. PatientPoint also boasts a high retention rate: 11 percent of staff have been with the company for at least 10 years.

Social responsibility is at the crux of the PatientPoint mantra to make every doctor-patient engagement better. Beyond accomplishing that goal through its innovative products and award-winning content, PatientPoint collaborates with nearly 20 mission-driven associations and foundations to help raise awareness for each via its digital and print products. Association and foundation messaging is coupled with relevant editorial content—sometimes custom-developed for the organization—on the appropriate platform.

Giving back to our local community is also a core value for PatientPoint employees. Over the last 12 months, Cincinnati-based staff volunteered at Matthew 25: Ministries to assemble goods for local and national organizations supporting women. Nashville staff also participated in a day of service, which included buying books and reading to local schoolchildren as well as assembling furniture at the Nashville-area Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Each holiday season, PatientPoint pledges $5,000 to the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help support their critical work to make wishes matter for wish kids. The organization also sponsors families in need, buying gifts and placing them under a special giving tree.

    Advice to Management

    Keep communication open, inclusive and relaxed as it has always been. Ensure consideration of as many different opinions, perspectives and experiences as it has always been. Ensure everyone continues to enjoy coming in to work, feels valued, rewarded and recognized for their contributions as it has always been. Keep the workplace culture positive, fair, open, honest as it has always been. These are the values that have gotten us to where we are now. Educate growing staff on the qualities and practices of good management to retain all of the great people we have. Encourage the Golden Rule at all levels of the company.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at PatientPoint (Cincinnati, OH) in December 2017.

    Interview

    It was a comfortable interview process, they made me feel very welcome, offering me coffee and greeting me generously. I then got the chance to walk around and be introduced by the different teams. Lastly, spoke to my manager and current employee to see if it would be a good fit. Great process.
