I have been working at ACES ABA part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Flexible schedule, great supervisors, paid training and ongoing help from supervisors

    Cons

Sometimes cannot get enough hours, clients can cancel and you’re just out of work (and pay) for the day, pretty much no way to be full time unless you are a supervisor

I worked at ACES ABA part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great job for students, the schedule is extremely flexible and you work in 3 hours sessions. Working with kids and their families is very rewarding and it's great entry level experience. Supervisors are very supportive and always willing to offer advice and support. Employees are allowed to use company ipads for personal use.

    Cons

It is difficult to get more than 10-15 hours a week unless you live near the office. Short sessions mean you can work 6 days a week and still only work 20 hours a week. The company treats BI's as expendable there is little continuing education, no benefits and little done to improve retention so employee turnover is very high. The company also will not provide references for former employees which is a real issue as many employees are young people building their resume

I worked at ACES ABA part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    1. Flexible Hours 2. Various Supervisors and their perspectives on pediatric behavioral intervention 3. Work with kids of all ages

    Cons

    1. Difficult to schedule new clients, especially if they require more than 1 day/week of therapy. 2. Lots of driving that is not covered since they pair you with clients within a certain distance from your house. 3. May require you to work weekends

I have been working at ACES ABA part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great pay! By far the highest paying ABA company in the area. Sacramento office has very friendly therapists and staff.

    Cons

Supervisors are hard to get ahold of and hardly help you. If you are needing help from them expect it to take multiple days and for their response to be condescending and basically useless. Employees are taken advantage of as far as being given difficult clients with little to no help or guidance. In addition, they will get talked down to.

    Great environment and supportive management.

    Cons

There is a lot of daily driving, but that can be true of the field of ABA.
