I have been working at Crocs part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    •Employee discount

•A lot of the customers are great

    Cons

•Management as a whole from corporate down to the store level and how they conduct themselves in a professional capacity. Overall, it's unacceptable.

    Advice to Management

Overall, better management and team direction is needed. Managers should not just sit in the store's back room and chat for long periods of time during business hours, leaving sales associates on the sales floor to deal with everything all the time. You should also really appreciate hard working, dependable employees and help them advance instead of playing favorites with promoting people and just playing favorites with the employees in general. Just treat everyone equally. To corporate: Don't ask our feedback on surveys and then do nothing about the feedback we give. Also, take reports seriously and FIX the problem(s) instead of doing nothing and acting like you were not made aware of any issue(s).

I worked at Crocs full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Free shoes now and then. Health insurance ok.

    Cons

No job security. Very clicky and when I suggested opportunities in a the "culture of the click" I was micromanaged in hopes to get me to quit. Hounded at every turn overnight after years of nothing but pats on the back for a job well done. It was like flicking a switch.

    Advice to Management

Just speed reading "I want to thank you for the time away from your family, pets loved ones" in a monotone voice doesnt give the employees the real impression you care. Using coaching to really develop your teams and not just a tool to "Coach out" would be a good start. Way too clicky... No more high school drama.

I have been working at Crocs full-time

    Pros

In Colorado. Bonus discount on plastic shoes.

    Cons

Culture in product keeps getting worse and worse. Didn't think it was possible, but it is. PLM, Design and Development moral is the worst it's ever been. Sr Management does not want to do anything about it. The immaturity at the VP level is astounding.

Now we are moving to Broomfield. They can't even make a move in the right way. Its 20 minutes closer to Denver, but it probably won't do much to attract new talent. Especially with VF moving right down town by Union Square. Ton of new jobs opening at VF. Will be hard to compete.

    Advice to Management

Need to seriously look at Product leaders. They struggle to be professional, lead and empower the employees.

    Pros

    You will receive a paycheck

    Cons

Low pay, racist company, horrible hours and horrible benefits and slow traffic.

    Advice to Management

Stop being racist and treat all employees the same and get better products before you go out of business.

    Pros

    Cons

You don't get ahead if you are a worker bee.

    Advice to Management

Reward employees that give their all, not just managers, directors and VPs.

    Pros

Good chance to work with different customer from other countries.

    Cons

Upper management, gossiping and drama caused by management, no feedback on performance, lack of development, good performance is seen as a threat to others, constant write-ups for the smallest mistakes.

    Advice to Management

Be aware how you set an example and create an environment for others. Your job is not your high school drama scene.

I have been working at Crocs full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Occasionally you can pick a free shoe from a list

    Cons

Upper management is a giant click made up of people who used to work together at Reebok & Adidas. They were pushed out of there and got into Crocs where they started pushing that staff out and replacing them with their friends who were unqualified for the positions they were placed into.
If you disagree with anything or anyone in the click you are instantly labeled a problem and they will harass you and discriminate against you until you leave regardless of the impact on the business. The business is second priority to keeping the click together.
Do not waist your time going to HR either, they only exist to ensure the company doesn't get sued. They will not be a neutral mediator, they are also part of the click.
