Your experience varies greatly depending on who your direct supervisor is Some people in management shouldn't be there Stressful You can outgrow the role quite quickly if you're really good. If you don't take on additional responsibilities such as TC or TL, your future career prospects won't be as good. Very easy to fall into a poor work/life balance. You need to set boundaries and stick to them. Unfortunately, how well this works for you depends on your supervisor. (see the first item in this con list) Your customer assignments are more or less random. Your happiness can greatly depend on whether or not your customers are good natured or not.
