Pros

- Perfect place to master the art of doing nothing while looking busy - Great work-life balance… mainly because there’s no actual work - Consistent salary — no confusion from hikes or bonuses - Excellent exposure to office politics and “over-smart” management - Job security is amazing — they won’t let you leave easily even if you want to - Ideal environment to rethink all your life choices

Cons

I’ve been working here for the past 2 years, and honestly, it has been one of the most disappointing phases of my career. Despite being billed to a FAANG-level client, I did not get any meaningful work or exposure. I can confidently say I didn’t learn a single new skill during this time. There has been absolutely no growth — not even a 1% hike in the last 2 years. If you're someone who is ambitious and wants to build strong technical skills, this is not the place for you. The work environment does not encourage learning, and the kind of exposure required to move into good product companies is simply not available. I had to rely entirely on self-learning, spending countless hours outside of work to prepare myself for better opportunities. Eventually, I managed to secure a great offer from a product-based company. However, things got worse when I requested an early release. Even though: * There is no actual work assigned to me * The client does not want a replacement * I even arranged a replacement myself My manager, HR, and skip-level manager all denied my early release request. The only reason: they don’t want to lose the billing for the remaining notice period. So essentially, I’m being forced to sit idle in the office just to maintain their revenue, at the cost of my career growth. The team culture is equally frustrating — a lot of office politics, with people who are less technically capable but highly manipulative dominating decisions. Overall: * No work * No learning * No salary growth * No flexibility even when you want to move on This company can seriously impact your career if you’re not careful. If you have aspirations to grow, learn, and work on meaningful problems — please think twice before joining.
