Pros

Excellent Medical Benefits scheme. One of the best Onsite (overseas assignment) payer. Among all Indian service providers, Wipro has the best payscale and onsite assignment opportunities. As a youngster, if you are willing to invest your formative years of your career abroad, you can stack up valuable experience and also enhance your net worth. Some things which are taken for granted is the highly oiled process machinery. The entire internal information services system is automated. You have all your personal particulars and career details on your secure intranet. You can get any information from your desk - if you want to apply for leave, order stationery, fill your appraisal, claim your bills, access your old salary slips, get salary certificate, update resume, find someone's phone number, or simply ask your question without knowing whom to ask -- all this you can do it with your intranet login. Perfectly integrated and automated.

Cons

Poor technical capability of peers, superiors leaves you frustrated - not enough growth opportunities because superiors try to use you for their growth. They will give you very good rating, but not promote you due to their insecurity. The problem is the lower and middle management. The company has lost its former glory. If you are technically good, then you might be stuck being responsible and overworking yourself to make up for the large scale unskilled resource they recruit. Most often, your boss is one among them who is dependent on you like a leech and will never let you rise in your career.

Pros

Good place for freshers and early‑career professionals to learn technologies, processes, and client interaction, with “huge opportunities for learning new things.”

Cons

Onboarding for freshers can be slow and confusing, with delays before real project allocation

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
