    I worked at Exponential-e

    Pros

Good atmosphere within th company. Company is constantly on the rise looking at new technology. Has potential to become huge

    Cons

Political. Unrealistic targets . Due to it being a privately held company there are a lot of shortcuts and unfair treatment of newer staff

    Advice to Management

    Adjust targets to improve motivation

I have been working at Exponential-e full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Can do very little work and collect good pay for the market averages. Lots of different technologies to work with. Free stuff if you don't mind being a walking advertising board. A number of internal promotions for the few people who stay in the company. Expected to do very little outside of work due to the shift team being on hand (Also expected to do very little in work tbh)

    Cons

Managed Services management chase stats only. Training is mandatory but the level of training is only apprentice/first line technicians level. Use the cheapest products where company has a choice meaning it breaks constantly and has no vendor support. Management change things constantly to seem like they are doing something but in reality are just applying the look busy philosophy. Office has mice but so do a lot...

I worked at Exponential-e full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Exceptional growth, really great technology and a well established story behind why you would choose Expo-e over competitors. Some very good employees across the business who go the extra mile to provide a good customer experience - this has created a loyal customer base filled with impressive brand names. Achievable targets for those who are willing to graft and buy in to the company ethos. Good remuneration for achievers....

    Cons

Some of the Senior leaders could be more respectful to their employees, but most of them are professional. More of a commitment to marketing could really help with next-level growth. The investment in this area has always been limited. A bit old school with rules around attire and office working. Could do with an injection of fun and some more incentives and activity outside of the office.

    Advice to Management

Take good care of the employees and go to town on marketing the fantastic service the company provides.

I worked at Exponential-e full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Good core network only, has ability to leverage this to do better.

    Cons

Lack of delegation so single points of failure in people.

    Advice to Management

Delegate and trust people to deliver. Sales people are juniors at best in any other business and directors need to change to help the company evolve.

    Pros

    - Free coffee. - Couple of fun social events. - Good location for pubs and train stations.

    Cons

    - Very few good managers - Lie at interview stage to get you to join then nothing from the interview comes to fruition - Bullying, talked down to and shouted at. -20% Of sales force hit target each month. - No Flexible working unless you are way over your impossible target. - No dress down on Friday, unless you are way over your impossible target. (suit and tie everyday) - Have to stay until 7PM on Month end...

    Advice to Management

Stop getting Shareholders/Longstanding employees to write reviews instead of addressing the problems. Tell people at interview stage how many people have stayed in channel sales since joining in the last 2 years. Tell people at interview stage how many people hit target regularly. Allow flexible working and smart casual dress, it's not Wall Street in 1985.

    Pros

Lots of different technologies to work with, varied customer base, with some large organisations signing on

    Cons

No training plan as such, which puts a lot of pressure on learning on your own (mistakes), often you don't receive help with issues until the problem has been escalated to top management

I have been working at Exponential-e full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Have worked at Exponential-e for ten years in which time it has increased in size from around 100 employees to nearly 450 employees whilst experiencing significant double-digit growth year on year, something unheard of elsewhere in its sector. The CEO, MD and other directors provide, and inspire, huge amounts of personal loyalty; they are approachable and willing to listen and take on board your views and advice. Opinions...

    Cons

There can still be a "sell anything to anyone" attitude amongst certain salespeople which takes up time and resource amongst support functions which is not proportionate to the deal value.

    Advice to Management

Have all relevant resources reporting into the relevant director (i.e. sales people into sales director). This helps support functions by having a single point of resolution for competing demands.
