I have been working at Luxoft full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Will pay some people a salary while on the bench (between projects), though not clear how much time each person has before being laid off.

    Cons

The company is owned and controlled by Russians, who prefer having Russians put on projects over anyone else. Lack of new projects has everyone concerned.

    Advice to Management

Create a plan to retain key personnel before there's no one left to turn the lights off.

I worked at Luxoft full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits. I would recommend the company to anyone who is at the beginning to middle of their career.

    Cons

Max salary for senior candidates is conservatively $20,000 - $30,000 less than what the local Seattle market supports. I can only assume this is because we are trying to compete with offshore competitors, are capping rates across the US without regard to regional differences, or because internal operating margins are higher than they should be.

Very few client options based out of the Greater Seattle area.

    Advice to Management

Revisit wholesale rate sheet approach to compensating senior candidates. Get away from cattle call / volume based agency opportunities, start investing more in Seattle business development.
