      Cooperation oriented flat organization, what else do you need ?

      Pros

      - Flat structure. No middle-managers. No bosses. Noone telling you, what to do - Intelligent creative people. Without the shackles of micro-management, creativity can flourish. - Cooperation instead of competition. You will always find help, noone is out to get you. Instead, everyone has the same goal: be the best (as a group of people) and change the world. - Employee centric culture. The well-being of the employee is of utmost importance. Happy employee is a productive employee, often going the extra mile without being asked. - Innovation forefront. How about predicting resource usage via historical data ? How about UX (user experience) of your work environment or culture ? How about discovering services you can provide that you haven't thought about yet ?

      Cons

      - Still a bit drag from history from being a software house. Some projects are more about regular software coding than innovation and creativity. - Regionally a bit above average salary. If you look just for higher pay, then there might be better places. - I'd really like to add a third point... but at the moment I cannot think of any :/

      Great company, but not for everyone

      Pros

      It's a great company to work for if you want stability and not feel the pressure of getting stuff done like in a start up every day. That doesn't mean that there isn't work to be done. Proekspert really takes care of the engineers and values them highly.

      Cons

      All the cons are the flipside of the pros. As the environment is slow, it also might not be suitable for everyone. There are a lot of employees who have been there for 10+ years- even up to 30 and that makes doing things differently and approaching things in a new way very difficult. On the other side, these same people have crazy amounts of knowledge (as opposed to some youngsters in a start-up). All in all- if you want a faced paced environment with a crash course in self- development, then this place is not for you. Although the company really takes care of it's engineers and it of course has the same benefits for everyone, it still feels that the supporting roles are there to be looked down to. To serve and make sure everyone else is fine.
