Investment in People defines the mission of TeamHealth: Practice Makes Perfect
Apr 14, 2023 - Facility Medical Director OB ServicesRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
TeamHealth is unique in its diversity and ability to adapt to the changing tides of medicine. The clinical care provided is top notch. The ability to increase access to care and improve outcomes is so beneficial especially in rural areas. The expectation of excellence prevails across the service lines. Patient care is priority number one; but provider well - being is a close second. TeamHealth clinicians are heard and prioritized in a way that I've never experienced before in my 20 years of practicing medicine. The company values employees and invests in team members as few others do. You won't find the benefits package and personnel resources in other companies. You just won't. They really mean it when they say: "Practice makes perfect."
Cons
Needs more of a presence in rural areas and an expansion of telemedicine.

Working from home and easy to take PTO
Cons
The fact that they are understaffed and that they need to make sure that they have the training that is needed. They also say that they want to work with you and allow over time is a farse as they are not able to help you when needed as they are under staffed. Once you are able to get the things that are needed to do your job its project after project, and with out the help that you need.
