At Herman Miller we strive to create an environment where members of our community feel valued and comfortable to be their whole self at work. This means focusing as a company on not just physical health but emotional, financial, and work well-being. This latest article from Harvard Business Review agrees
For three years we've partnered with Gift of Hope Haiti, sending fabric scraps to the Haiti Foundation Against Poverty to employ Haitians with stable, full-time work. The program's volunteers teach women how to sew and create useful items for sale, such as duffel bags, totes, and more out of the fabric and allows families the opportunity to rise above poverty. We're happy to share that our third truck load, sponsored by Herman Miller Cares, arrived in Haiti with 33,000 pounds of fabric!
We are thrilled to introduce Andi Owen as our new President and CEO. Andi is a proven leader who will guide our company into the future and continue to build upon our legacy of innovation and design excellence.
You know how important the right healthcare plan is to your life, but what happens when feeling right requires more than a flu shot and an annual checkup? Is your employer there for you? At Herman Miller, we’ve designed our benefits programs to extend well beyond physical health, because we know that mental, emotional, and financial health are also big pieces of the puzzle. We’re proud to partner with organizations like the Mental Health Champion Network to ensure that everyone at Herman Miller can bring their whole self to work each day.
Design is in our DNA. And it turns out that the problem-solving approach we take when making furniture works just as well when it comes to ensuring the health and prosperity of our people, our communities, and our planet. We’re committed to creating a better world. Design is how we’re doing it.
Summer is officially here, and we're celebrating with a throwback to one of our favorite summer traditions. This poster was designed by Steve Frykholm for the Herman Miller Picnic in 1970. The company picnic was started by our founder, D.J. De Pree, in the 1940s to bring together team members, retirees, and their families for a day of delicious food, community, and fun activities. Over 70 years later, it's still one of our most anticipated summer events in West Michigan.

We were truly in good company at this year's NeoCon thanks to all of you who visited our showroom! After debuting 13 new products and services, introducing you to new family members, and picking up a few awards, we'd say this year was one of our best yet. If you didn't get a chance to join us, explore what we debuted on our website.
The Herman Miller family is growing. We’re happy to announce that HAY, Europe’s leader in accessible, authored design for the office and home, is joining our family of brands. We’ve been fans of HAY’s furniture and accessories for years and are excited to help extend their vision of making great design available to everyone. Welcome, HAY.
It’s pride month, and we’re honored to have received the highest honor in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index for 11 consecutive years. We understand that diversity at every level is not just the right thing to do, it also allows us to better meet the needs of our global customers. Art by Anna Kovecses
