Today, we are honored to celebrate Juneteenth in partnership with the Black Employee Network, our employee-led business resource group dedicated to empowering Black individuals across Team Point B. This federal holiday marks the day in 1865 when troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people knew of their liberation and were freed – two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. We hope you’ll join us in celebration by educating yourself through Black experiences, reading Black authors in literature, supporting Black-owned businesses, and committing to racial equity.
We are proud of the work we've done to advance DEI+J in the workplace and have been named to Seramount’s 2023 Inclusion Index for our efforts. Dig into the key findings and best practices for building a culture of belonging with us: https://bit.ly/40Cb62f

This June, Team Point B is proud to celebrate the 53rd anniversary of #PRIDE. We are keenly aware that this year — much like the many historic years before— it is imperative that we not only celebrate visibility and understanding for the #LGBTQIA+ community, but we also use our voices for #equality. All month long, we’ll be celebrating alongside #bProud, our employee-led business resource group dedicated to creating a community for LGBTQIA+ individuals at #PointB, by participating in community events, creating educational opportunities, and more. We hope you’ll join us by honoring, celebrating, and supporting LGBTQIA+ folks, businesses, and events in your area!

Today we celebrate Juneteenth, also known as Jubilee Day, Freedom Day or Liberation Day. Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people knew of their liberation and were freed – two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. In honor of Juneteenth, our Black Employee Network, one of Point B's employee-led business resource groups, will be hosting a firm-wide virtual cookout this week where all attendees are encouraged to support locally Black-owned restaurants and gather to reflect, celebrate and empower. Our firm encourages all employees and our communities to allow space for honoring the holiday. Together, we renew our commitment to racial equity by showing up for each other, pursuing understanding and accountability by elevating the rich history of our diverse communities.
