Does Walmart offer massages?

Pros

The people you work with on a day to day basis are fantastic and down to earth.

Cons

The leadership team at the Global People Center couldnt be more disconnected if they tried. They tried to get everyone's anonymous opinions only for everyone to find out that they weren't anonymous after the fact. Now nobody provides any real feedback. Just a bunch of "yes-people" who will pretend to do the job then cause so many problems because of their inability to do the job because the job was ridiculous and poorly planned in the first place. This causes a never ending cycle of work which leadership expects you to work day and night like they are some kind of start up. Literally taking meetings at 2am. They HAD perks but have basically rolled back everything. Even the 10% employee discount barley covers anything anymore. During the pandemic they ripped out all the free coffee and are now selling it back to us at a premium...same terrible drip though. Pay is not competitive for the market. When leadership was asked about this they made it clear that profit margins were more important than their people. They don't care. They even gave a 5 minute long speech not addressing the issue, but addressing how managers could address the issue by simply pointing out "Its market rate" and not increasing pay for associates. The new leader is absolutely awful. He talks down to and disrespects the locals (he's from Australia or New Zealand). He doesnt have any emotional intelligence and from the way things are going no intellectual intelligence either. Sam Walton would be disgusted with this new leadership team. Walmart deserves so much better than this.

Does Walmart offer dental insurance?

Pros

Great benefits such as 41k and health/ dental insurance,Sick and holiday pay using pto.Alot of room to grow in this company as far as career advancement. Aso helps with school needs and resources to get a degree.

Cons

Doesn't always offer proper training and proper resources as far as tools to get the job done. Associate are often thrown in the fire so to speak and have to learn from experience. Associate morale is not priority, yes they do offer surveys to check up on your mood every day but nothing more other then that. Make guidelines to company standards ( Walmarts one best way) most store dont follow them at all.

Advice to Management

Value the associates, I get it is a business a busy one at that , but respect the individuals that work there they are the back bone to the company success. Dont look at associates as ants that can be replaced.
