Had an interview with the recruiter and she was making comments and judging me that I got laid off my past two jobs. Sorry we can't find a great company to stay at for 10 years like you, your highness. She ghosted when I was trying to follow up. Don't interview here if you've left jobs or been laid off because they will make comments and make you feel even worse after your lay off.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2023
Interview
Really strange experience- the recruiter reached out (cold call, I didn’t apply) and we spoke a few days later. She never sent the JD or any information about the role, so I found one I assumed was the correct position. When we spoke, she offered no info about the company or the role and jumped into asking me about my background while lightly chastising me for “jumping around” as people at capital group have “longevity”. I left the consulting industry in 2016, so almost 10 years ago. Her “feedback” for the role I had no information about was to focus on consulting because it was “way more exciting” than the roles held since. The roles I held after consulting were way more in line with the job req that was posted, so all I can gather is this company is more interested in name brand of your prior company than the actual work. Really bizarre experience. I asked her to remove me from the process - seems the company is not super interested in innovation and only interested in prestigious name brands.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2020
Interview
Very thorough, they know what they are doing and ask good basic questions with in depth follow up questions. You must be prepared and can't fake your way through if you don't have the experience.
