I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at City Year
Interview
Very easy; I submitted my application and was invited for an interview less than a week later. The interview was around 45 minutes and was like a friendly conversation. I haven't heard back yet, but will on December 18th.

Question 1
Why are you interested in joining City Year? Describe your leadership experiences.
Very simple. Quick virtual interview and pretty simple questions. Research their values and what not and you should be good to go. As far as I remember it was a single interview and decision is relatively soon after that.
Really friendly and welcoming. Try to make it as comfortable as possible and share about the work they do. They want to ensure applicants are making the right decisions and that they assess the values.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at City Year
Interview
Done over zoom and not an overly long process interviews are usually conducted by the IM for a school in the city you are applying for but if you have a pulse you should be fine
