I was only able to interview with the Sr Talent Acquisition Manager. He was nice, but talked over me frequently and was just very matter-of-fact. At the end of the interview I asked if there was anything in my resume or interview that prevented me from being the best candidate. He quickly said no.
Alas, I did not get a second interview.
He also said at the end of the interview that, if the position I was interviewing for wasn't the best fit, THEY would look at other open positions to see if there was anything that was a good fit.
But the email turning me down was just the standard "we're moving on with other candidates who more closely align." Nothing about other positions.
