I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GfK (London, England) in Dec 2020
Interview
A waste of time. One of the worst interviews I’ve ever attended. Refused to conduct the interview over the phone due to my broadband problem and constant dropped connection. Insisted I install software which added to minutes to the call (and didn’t work).
The interviewer started the interview off by saying ‘ we only have 30 minutes if you take too long to answer a question I will have to interrupt you to move on to the next question. I’m not being rude, but I am’. I don’t care about your interview time window - I won’t be penalised for your poor time management. The interview was a disaster and very amateurish.
I was being secretly spied on and listened to by another person who suddenly appeared on my screen when my interviewer had to attend to an issue in his home. I had no idea who this person was. Awful first impression, I promptly told the GfK talent specialist, who set up the interview about this experience. I would rather chew razor blades than continue through the interview process or work for GfK.

Question 1
Kept asking me questions about my experience of ‘unit testing’. Why? I honestly have no idea. Why did they keep asking me this as it wasn’t on my CV? I would have to be crazy to have a skill and keep it hidden.
