      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Austin, TX) in Mar 2015

      Interview

I met a front end developer at my school's career fair. He told me to apply online and seemed interested. I applied online and received an email from a recruiter. She asked a few questions then setup an interview with the man I spoke with at the career fair. The specific job I was going for was 'front end developer' so the interview was on JS fiddle and I had to redesign a website using HTML, CSS and JS. This interview went well, so I progressed to the next round. The next round was skyping with the intern lead. It seemed that I already had the job because he was pretty laid back. He didn't ask anything too out of the ordinary and said that he'd call me back with a decision. He called back in the next few days and offered the job.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at IBM (Austin, TX) in Dec 2015

      Interview

The process was very quick and relatively painless. From the initial application to the hiring was approximately 2 weeks. First, there was a one hour phone screen with a senior staff member. During this interview, they asked me to talk about my work. Within a day or two, I was called for an on-site interview. The on-site was around half a day and was one-on-one interviews with potential colleagues and managers. People asked various questions about past work and workplace experiences
