Met them in college job fair, one of the engineers (QA) seemed to like me and suggested i apply for the position. i was scheduled for a phone interview and heard back promptly.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Palo Alto, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
Went through two phone interviews, first one being a screener and the second one asking questions about testing ("how would you test a GPS", etc.). Was invited to the on-site interview. They really care about candidates: travel expenses reimbursed, nice hotel, always attentive to your needs.
The onsite interview lasted a whole day. Met the founder at the end. I thought it had went pretty well, but received a rejection email a few days letter.
