I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Red Robin (Schererville, IN) in Jun 2024
Interview
Two Interviews a day apart after an email, then a call . One with the General manager and one with the assistant manager. I was asked to name a time I had a difficult guest? How did you handle it?

I “interviewed” with the GM on a Friday. It wasn’t really an interview but more so a screening. They just went over my experience, availability, hours, etc and I got invited back a few days later to meet with the kitchen manager. This was even less of an interview and it literally lasted like 60 seconds and he told he would call me later that day. I didn’t hear from them so i called the day after and followed up and he told me the manager was in at 3:30 and they would go over all the applicants and call me by 4:30. Once again, I heard nothing. It’s incredibly rude and inconsiderate to lie to someone’s face TWICE and say you’re going to call them and never do. Even if you choose another candidate, it’s at least courteous to let people know you’re not going to hire them instead of lying and having them be ready to pick up the phone for two days straight. I was overqualified for this job with open availability and they didn’t even ask real interview questions so it’s genuinely a mystery to why they decided to ghost me. Very unprofessional and rude.

I applied online. I interviewed at Red Robin (Clinton Township, MI) in Sep 2024
Interview
It was quick and pointless. I didn’t get a job, despite the fact that I’m experienced. I had pretty open availability, but they didn’t care. Probably 17 per hour is a lot for them.
