I applied through a recruiter. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at RingCentral (Denver, CO) in Sep 2014
Interview
RingCentral initially reached out to me via LinkedIn. After initial conversations and a phone interview, I determined the position that was being discussed wasn't a right fit for me. Instead of dismissing me, the recruiter took the opportunity to build rapport with me over the next year and followed up with me from time to time as RingCentral continued to grow. Eventually, a position that I felt was a right fit was presented, and I met with various individuals both over the phone and in person before being offered the opportunity to come on board.

Only problem is that if you don't move forward, you get ghosted. Sounds like this is a common theme. At least give the courtesy "we went with someone else."

Be prepared for a few phone interviews and an in person presentation . This is pretty standard for any software company to first have a call with a recruiter to make sure there is a fit for job requirements, salary, expectations, Etc. Glassdoor I want to review you for this process of putting 30 words in the description. More importantly you'll have 1 to 2 more phone interviews then you go into the office to deliver a sales presentation on your choice. Is this a long enough explaination?
