I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Riot Games (Santa Monica, CA) in Dec 2014
Interview
The interview was challenging, but entirely reasonable. Be well prepared! Riot is extremely focused on culture and fit. Throughout the interview, they will challenge you on your answers and encourage you to think deeper and answer more thoroughly. Pretty much all of the skills that would be used day to day were covered in some form. You also get plenty of opportunities to ask them questions and learn too.
Got a coding assessment 2 medium leetcode questions. Then get offered a round of phone interview's , Took a while to actually hear back since the responses were delayed. The recruiter was very responsive.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Riot Games (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
The overall interview process was frictionless and the HR team was pretty professional. I received HR screening call first. Then behavioral/value questions with the interviewer in about one month. And skill questions with the specific team afterwards.

I interviewed at Riot Games (New York, NY) in Mar 2023
Interview
1 recruiter screening + 2 behavioral interviews for a design role. The interviews felt structured but also very casual, and the interviewers are very open to answering any question you might have.
