I applied online. I interviewed at USAA (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2023
Interview
Applied on line, USAA recruiter contacted me and set up interview. I interviewed and it went great. Never heard back from anyone. I followed up a week later and received an email that stated they no longer would be filling the position. A large company like USAA advertising positions that they don't intend to fill?
I applied for a position that said "reviewing" for two weeks without any updates. After two weeks a similar, but different position was posted. Within 30 minutes both applications were rejected with the reasoning that "other candidates more closely aligned" even though my applications aligned with the positions' requirements.
I applied online. I interviewed at USAA (San Antonio, TX) in Dec 2016
Interview
The interview process was very fluid and I was never left wondering when I would hear back from the company. I am normally not a big fan of phone interviews but the interviewer made it a very conversational and relaxed interview.
