      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Jul 2015

      Interview

A very long interview process, but worth it in the end. Started with a phone interview with 2 people, then was called in for an in-person interview. The in person interview consisted of 4 separate 30 minute interviews with multiple different people. Everyone had different questions to ask and had a different role on the team. They said the reason they want to have such an extensive interview process is to make sure that everyone joining the team will be a good fit, and having more opinions on the candidate is helpful. After my in person interviews, I received a call the next morning with the offer.

      Interview

The interview process was very smooth and well organized. Recruiter was very friendly and great at keeping me up to date on the progress. They were very fast and thorough with organizing my trip to interview in Boston. it was phone screen, phone interview with this hiring manager and in person group interview that last about 4 hours. Two people interviewed me at the same time which is much better than being interviewed separately as that usually leads to having to answer same questions over and over again. Everyone I interviewed with was very familiar with my resume and their questions were well-thought out. I chose another job offer that was a better fit for me but I have to say this was a very good interview experience. Seems like a good company to work for.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions were rather straight forward - no trick questions. They were interested in learning more about how familiar I was with their product and what ideas I had for improvement. This interview started with a case study which I thought was a bit unexpected since it was an early morning interview.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair in Apr 2011

      Interview

The interview process began with someone calling me from their department in order to arrange a phone interview with the department head. The department head asked basic questions like what my past work experience was, what my future ambitions were, how my school work and past jobs would help me in the current line of work. I was also asked about how much I knew about the company itself and changes I would personally make about the site. I was then brought in for a one on one interview on-site by the department head and a few other employees. I also got to chat with the CEO. After expressing interest in other possible roles, Wayfair was able to arrange for me to meet with managers in other departments to see if their lines of work were more suitable to what I wanted to do.
