“Hispanic Heritage Month gives me the opportunity to stop and reflect on my Hispanic identity. We recently hosted panel discussions in our offices for National Veterans & Military Families Month, welcoming employee veterans and guests from Joint Base Lewis-McChord and Fairchild Air Force Bases. Our panelists spoke about the challenges of transitioning from the military to a corporate job, and how the skills they honed in the military – leadership, critical thinking and emotional intelligence, among others – shaped who they are today. It was a great discussion, and a chance to discover how many of our colleagues have previous military experience or family connections....Show more
