    Pros

Solid product and strong finances. There are opportunities when you raise your hand.

    Cons

Company not taking advantage of their full potential. They should be 1Bn Revenue by now. Mid Size company Vs working for a large corporate.

    Advice to Management

Delegate more, focus on channels and growth. Listen to the good ideas.

I have been working at Axios Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I love the entrepreneurial spirit of the company at it's outposts. Innovation exists in many areas and Axios has a lot of great people. Loving the CSP "Customer Success Program" - the focus on driving continuous improvement with the customer base so they drive a successful ITSM framework for many years. V Solid and proven product, especially with the new release and UI. New Modules and parallel product roadmaps are a big plus too

    Cons

Not a very big company so you have to create your own progression. Still Family owned which is a different culture to a PE or listed company setup.

    Advice to Management

More sales, marketing and supporting roles would be helpful.

    Pros

It's still a smallish company so it's definitely possible to make a name for yourself.
I've worked for large companies and it's easy to get swallowed up in the bureaucracy. Here, though, you can get noticed. If you put in the hours and come up with ideas then you're only 1 or 2 steps away from the people with all the sway. Once you make it to the trusted few then you can write your own job description.

    Cons

Read my Pros. If you're only average or below, then you get ditched pretty quickly.
On the sales side, this can seem pretty harsh, but we've seen a few people that have been here beyond their best-before date.
I have no issue with failing sales folks getting trashed but a con can be that you need to be "sponsored" by someone in the inner circle. Without that, you have a tough hill to climb.

    Advice to Management

Some great people here, but too many people are doing too many jobs as a sideline. Recruit for the ancillary roles.

    Pros

    - Well rounded outside sales team
    - Good place just to do nothing but collect paychecks
    - Management are ghosts within the environment
    - If you are not into collaborating with your co-workers this is the place
    - The CEO and management team are intelligent, but they lack the effort and ability to teach

    Cons

    - Depressing work environment
    - Everyones out to get one another
    - Rats and people will talk behind your back
    - No management
    - I would find myself lost and confused due to management
    - Their way of motivation is to bring you down
    - No marketing
    - No training

    Advice to Management

Stop belittling your employees and nurture them with respect and promotions instead of unattainable incentive goals. Your team is very smart but ya'll need to start better educating your employees.

    Pros

very little supervision so you can work at your own pace. If you are in sales, then you can get away without being a go getter.

    Cons

No accountability at the management level. Product is old and not suited for today's demands of ease of use, flexibility, or quick implementation. You can only dress up a 25 year old technology product just so much. The benefits package in the US is poor if you have a family. Since they are a UK company, they don't get the healthcare system in the US.

    Advice to Management

listen to your employees. they are more capable than you give them credit for.

    Pros

Strong management team that actually listens to employees and makes changes and tweaks based on feedback. Strong and innovative product that has a 25+ year proven track record, yet cutting edge and leading the industry with the latest technologies and trends. Collaborative, passionate, team based culture with the ability to work outside of the box and perform in a flexible and stable environment. Company is extremely fair and rewarding to hard working employees who perform- not the place to work if you like to sit back and wait for opportunity to fall in your lap. Good benefits, 401k match, extremely generous PTO. Very much a team-centric, value-based culture where collaboration is the norm.

    Cons

Everyone wears many hats so you are pulled in various directions, sometimes with little direction. Revenues are reinvested heavily back into the product and support, so areas like marketing aren't as well funded as sales people would like- it means we are working harder to find our prospective customers. There have been a few management changes over the years which have been somewhat disruptive, but that is all in the past and the forward-driving momentum the past 18 months has been very positive.

    Pros

decent product. Some really smart technical people

    Cons

Management is not mature and have no capabilities or power to effect change. Senior VP's are to young and think they know more that 25 very veterans. When you don't listen to the market and or trust your people, you will not grow or evolve a organization. No tools

    Advice to Management

Leave you ego's at home and listen to experienced people that are mature enough to know better. Make better decisions

    Pros

Great vacation benefits. Management is flexible and supportive. Colleagues are knowledgeable and helpful with a strong work ethic.
The Company also invests in developing its staff. All employees are put through the ITIL certification and further training is encouraged. Staff are not limited to performing only the duties of the job hired for, and are recognized for creativity and hard work.
Overall working climate is very positive.

    Cons

Not enough communications between different offices.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees and equally reward staff for achievements.

    Pros

More agile than super large american competitors. It does seem like there is a campaign from some staff let go to write negative reviews and lie about their tenure, role, employment status etc. It is a shame because the majority of staff are working hard and delivering good results. The product is a top 5 product out of over 500 globally which is something we that work here are v proud of. Great buildings and location in capital city

    Cons

100% specialist firm focused on ITSM and ITAM solutions. Can be a plus but diversification could help with more growth.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on people and product.

    Pros

Like every place there are pros and cons however my experience of the company has been positive. The people are all friendly and the location is great.

    Cons

Really disappointing to see the negative reviews as this has not been my experience. There's still lots of work to do and this can be difficult at times, it can often take time to get approval for change.

    Advice to Management

Keep working on communication, we want to hear about the wider business.
