I worked at CrossKnowledge full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Overall great company culture and lots of perks. Really great people and actually a great suite of products that you can stand behind when speaking to current and prospective clients.

    Cons

Salary much lower than that of equivalent positions in the area. Tendency to undervalue talent and no real growth opportunities. Direction of organization often unclear.

    Advice to Management

Show your talent that you value them by getting realistic about salaries, not treating them like their prior experience doesn't exist, and providing them with real growth opportunities. You're in the business of leadership development, but you don't actually do this for your own employees. The management committee makes too many decisions in a bubble & your roadmap suffers so you need to start engaging ALL of your BU...

    Cons

Lack of organization on the upper management side. Promises are not always kept.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at CrossKnowledge full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I join the company in 2011 and was looking forward to confirm all the good things said about it. So far after 3 years no deception what so ever. I like the collaboration across teams, positive mindset, innovative, "go for it" entrepreneurship attitude, great overall values. Great place to work! The culture is very strong and will this company a big one!

    Cons

Need to be more diverse. Not enough gender balance within management positions, this is something easy to fix. Sometimes not enough international in its business approach.

    "Great teams poor visibility"

    StarStarStarStarStar
Former Employee - Project Manager in London, England

I worked at CrossKnowledge full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The UK team I was part of were a fantastic team, very collaborative. Very caring about their clients. Having a core of a very solid product with great support colleagues.

    Cons

Development and detached sometimes unaware management

    Advice to Management

Be realistic with targets to Wiley, develop your people not just managers. Listen to people to find out what's best for the client, don't let managers that haven't seen clients for years judge what is best. You attract and recruit great 'jack of all trades' in learning, don't try and pigeon hole them into your specialisms, don't recruit just for those specialisms as you are not big enough yet.

    Pros

    - Great work environment (people are adorable, workplace is excellent) - Flexibility - Open to explore new technologies

    Cons

    - The entreprise was bought by wiley several years ago and this year they decided that technology is no longer their priority. Actually, we have no visibility about the future right now. - No RTT - Salary is not competitive

    Advice to Management

Stay closer to the employees, specially right now where the context is not clear.
