Pros
Work from home makes the job very Flexible, and Management is completely supportive. Very optimistic for the future. Solid Solutions and great products that help customers save lots of time and money when they are implementing a corporate data Strategy.
Cons
Lots of change over the last year, but all in a good way.

Pros
Management used to be focused on driving a great R&D vision, which is how Talend became one of the best data engineering tools in the industry. Currently, the Talend platform is still among the best. Diversity and high quality staff used to be a high priority. There are still some great people at Talend.
Cons
A private equity company, Thoma Bravo, took control and has been pushing cost cutting for their own ROI goals. When Thoma Bravo cashes out, then Qlik/Talend will have the chance to once again become a great place to work. Due to frequent management changes the R&D vision and drive has faltered. There have been few major innovations over the last couple years, which needs to be addressed before Talend falls too far behind the competition. A layoff targeted as a pure cost savings measure, lost many excellent staff members and a significant portion of corporate knowledge. I don't think it was intention; but this layoff also appeared to significantly impact diversity. The moral is currently low, which will make retention of good staff still at Talend difficult.
