I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at 3M in May 2021
Interview
The interview process started with a recruiter led phone screen, asking the basic screening questions around background, why you want the job, etc. They also explained what they are looking for with the role and the structure of the position. Then it moved on to a panel interview where the organizer did not show up and instead two others had to interview me. The interview went fine, but I was never given their emails to thank them after reaching out to the recruiter multiple times. I also never heard back about the position even after reaching out to the recruiter for updates. Seems like they were disorganized or restructured the role. Ultimately frustrating and disappointing. I received an auto-reject letter 6 months later.
Went very quick, they needed someone in right away and I spoke to the recruiter, hiring manager and another direct manager. Total of 3 interviews with 3 different people and then the offer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 3M in May 2021
Interview
After completing my screening interview, I went on to the 2nd round (May 2021). During the 2nd round, the interviewer wasn't really listening to my answers, when he repeated my answers back to me he completely misconstrued my words.
Once the interview was over, I never heard back from 3M for a long time. I accepted an offer at another company and while at my job I received an email from 3M sometime during the late summer/fall of 2021 saying I didn't get the job.
