Decision maker not present. Hard then to know why they wanted this role in Manchester when the team members to be working with were nowhere near the office. Interviewers did a decent job but clearly not used to interviewing and clearly not senior enough to make a call, or allow me enough signals to come to a way of working.

Question 1
What would you do in your first 100 days of working here?
Recruiter very helpful. Applied over the weekend, recruiter contctacted me monday morning, hiring manager interview following week. After that it was just a waiting game. Overall a positive experience experience
Initial phone screen with the recruiter, followed by an in-person interview with the hiring manager + a few 1:1s with the team. I highly prefer when I'm able to speak with the team as well, whether virtually or onsite. I didn't receive a tour but it's a very secure building so I think they save that for day 1.

Question 1
What do you know about FIS/why are you interested in Fintech?
Even for a large firm, the interview process at FIS Global was woeful. Comprised of 4 rounds: screening by talent acquisition, then hiring manager, meeting with peers and finally senior manager. Went well but then completely ghosted by both hiring manager and talent acquisition. Incredibly unprofessional.
