It was a 5 stage process. Round 1 ) IBM CIC off campus Coding Assessment: 13/01/2024 - 2:00 pm (45 mins - 1 Qs) Question :- Simple prefix Sum Question. Verdict :- I passed the test, and got link for Round 2 within few hours. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Round 2) IBM CIC off campus English Language Assessment: 13/01/2024 - 5:00 pm onwards mapTQ platform link Simple grammar questions, synonyms, etc. If you know basic grammar you will pass! just be quick and don't spend too much time on a particular question. Verdict :- I passed the test, and got notified for Round 3 after a month. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Round 3 and further were offline rounds, In my case, almost 200+ people were invited for the offline round at Pune, out of which a few were absent. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Round 3) Coding Assessment (Physical Event/Offline) : 21st February 2024 - 10:00 am (45 mins - 1 Qs) Question : Reverse each word in a sentence.(Basic Stack question) Remarks : This is majorly an elimination round, questions are easy but you will only get qualified if you get all test cases passed, if you're stuck up with one or more test cases, just make sure you read all the constraints properly (That's what happened with me) Verdict :- 41/200+ selected, got results in about an hour. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Round 4) Group Discussion (Physical Event/Offline) : 21st February 2024 - 12:00 pm onwards (30-40 mins each round) This Round is taken by HR. All 41 of us were divided into three groups of 16/16/9 students, Each round takes almost 30-40 mins and we are given a topic to discuss among us. HR wants to check how you contribute to a team discussion, topic changes as discussion becomes redundant. we were given 3 topics and each of us was given a chance to speak. Topics : 1) AI- pros & cons 2) WFH or WFO 3) Social Media - pros and cons 4) sharing your Strengths and Weaknesses - good or bad 5) Government Job or Private Job Remarks : Most of the people gets selected in this round, you will get rejected only if you are underconfident to speak, HR gives you enough chance to speak, you should just speak and engage in a discussion. Verdict :- 35/41 selected, got results in few hours the same day and were invited for interview the next day. -------------------------------------------------------------------- 5) Interview : 22nd February 2024 - 9:00 am onwards -> Asked questions about projects in my resume, make sure you know your project as this discussion covers most of your interview time. -> Asked me to explain a simple sorting Algorithm of my choice. -> and a few usual HR questions like - will you relocate? where do u see yourself in 5 years ? etc. etc. Verdict: Selected, got Expression of Interest letter (Interview cleared) in about 12 days other got the same in about 6 days after BG verification
