I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenTable (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
The initial screening was a phone chat with a recruiter, discussing my previous company experiences and explaining what OpenTable is all about.
The technical interview consisted of a one hour 1-on-1 via Google Hangout. Questions were relatively straightforward - I couldn't correctly answer the last question, and when I asked the interviewer for help, they also couldn't answer why it was wrong.
I was turned down via an auto-generated email 5 days later. The recruiter couldn't even bother send a simple rejection letter themselves, which says a lot about the company.
