Progressive Insurance Sales Representative - Inbound Call Center Position interview questions

I applied at the Progressive website for the sales rep position. Having many years of experience in a customer service and sales call center, i was confident my skills would be a perfect fit for the job. Within a few days after submitting my application, I received an email to complete a screening test. After completing the test, I received an email that i would be considered for the job and to setup a phone interview date to discuss my qualifications. The HR lady who conducted the interview was was very pleasant to speak to. I was excited for a chance to interview considering I have read that Progressive is wonderful company to work with and it provides many opportunities for growth. Before the interview went any further, she stated the starting pay range would be between $14 and $15.75 an hour. This was disappointing considering the job posting for the position stated between $16 and $17 an hour. Not wanting to waste the interviewer's time I politely withdrew my application. I asked if withdrawing my application would appear negatively should I apply for other positions with higher pay, she replied not at all. Progressive is truly a great company to start a career with, not many companies go to great lengths to find candidates that are a perfect fit for their organization. My only feedback to the company is to be more transparent regarding posted starting pay. If another position become available with higher pay, I hope I am considered for a chance to interview again.
