I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at SAP (Bengaluru) in Dec 2011
Interview
Firtsly, a presentation was given by the officials about the company followed by a computer based test comprising of both mental ability and C/C++ related questions. The shortlisted candidates were called for interviews the next day. The interview consisted of two rounds- one each of technical and hr round. Both were elimination rounds. Finally, the results were declared.

Question 1
No such unexpected questions came up in technical round related to C/C++/DS as I was prepared for it. But I was asked a puzzle which surprised me but I answered it after giving some thought. The question was, "Suppose there is a bridge with a time bomb planted on it which will explode in 17 mins. There are four persons namely A,B,C and D on one side of the bridge who need to be evacuated, who take 10 min, 5 min, 2 min and 1 min respectively. The is only one torch which needs to be carried while crossing the bridge and at most two persons can cross at a time and they take the maximum time out of the two.Suggest a way so that all of them cross the bridge before it explodes.
I interviewed at SAP (Walldorf, Baden-Wurttemberg)
Interview
The SAP interview process included an initial screening, technical discussion, problem-solving questions, experience-based conversations, and behavioral assessment, followed by an opportunity to discuss role expectations and ask questions with interviewers.
Interview process was okayish, focused on candidates with AI and RAG skills, if you have built projects you have a chance, otherwise you may be rejected after the online test.
It is an in-person interview, which was smooth and conversational. We discussed my background, reviewed my work, talked through role-related questions, and ended with a clear sense of the team, expectations, and next steps.
