I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at U.S. Bank in Jul 2009
Interview
Initially intervgiewed with branch manager. The intervew lasted about 45 minutes. Questions were common, such as tell me about a difficult customer and how you handled it. Sales questions about sales goals in the past and how you feel about sales and out bound ales activity. About an hour after this interview the assistant to the DM called me to schedule an interview the following week. This interview was purely management behavioral questions. How you would react to difficult employees, or customers. As well as tell me what you usually did in a day at previous job. I got nervous and did not expand on my answers. I believe this is why I did not get an offer.

Question 1
What was your average day like at previous employer?
Just your average two interviews. The first interview was with two branch managers, more like a panel interview. The second interview was with the DM. They asked me the same question's that you'll get asked at any interview
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at U.S. Bank (Dublin, Dublin) in Jun 2024
Interview
Very quick to process application and arrange interview. Interviewers were unaware of some pretty standard industry tech and systems. Didn’t probe too much into experience more so wanted to just find out more information on my current employer (rival in the industry). After the interview it took a month of follow ups to finally get a response on the role to which they said they went with a more suitable candidate. Later found out the candidate was a subordinate on my current team. They basically just chose a lower salary and less experience. They called back for a slightly different role within the same team but with a very low salary offer. A lot of messing around and time wasting.
