I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Stamford, CT) in Jul 2016
Interview
Applied for the position on 7/9/2016. On the same day I received an email with a link to complete 2 tests. One was a personality test, the other tested your ability to notice differences in addresses, etc. After completing the 2 exams, I received another email with a link to set up an appointment to take another test in a facility. I scheduled the test in Danbury for 7/12/2016. I got an 86 and received the results via email before I reached my car in the parking lot after leaving. I received another email on 7/19/2016 for an invitation to interview. According to the letter I had some flexibility if the time/date in the email didn't work for me. I'm glad I changed it. I ended up getting a personal one-on-one interview after a group had gone the day before. I received the notice for background check/motor vehicle check on the 7/19, and had the interview on 7/23. Received the drug test email/secondary background check form on 7/27, took the drug test same day. Received my conditional letter of employment on 7/28 and accepted the offer. Completed a form regarding Health History. Awaiting welcome call with start date. Start to finish=19 days.
