Ubisoft 3D Programmer interview questions

I applied online, twice because the opening closed and reopened on a short timeframe. After a week on the second attempt, I received an e-mail for a first HR phone screen. The day after I received an online test, had 40 minutes to answer everything (internet and references were forbidden). I was declined the offer the day after. It's honestly exagerated and dishonnest like test. First, why references are forbidden? It's a day to day asset on the field than to check on the internet or in our books. Second, why ask specific questions for ps3 and xbox 360? That's outdated no? The test seems to check more if you've got a good memory, rather than good problem solving skills and creativity.
