Your Impact
As a Structures MRB Engineer, you will lead the evaluation and resolution of complex aircraft structural nonconformances across metallic and composite airframe components. Your expertise will help ensure production continuity, maintain airworthiness standards, and support the delivery of world-class aircraft products.
You'll work independently on high-visibility engineering challenges, develop innovative repair solutions, and influence major engineering decisions that affect critical aerospace programs.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
Lead engineering projects involving highly complex structural issues requiring advanced technical expertise and innovative solutions.
Create and justify engineering dispositions for aircraft structural nonconformances involving metallic and composite structures.
Analyze and develop repair solutions for both pressurized and non-pressurized aircraft structures.
Evaluate and resolve structural discrepancies affecting:
Wing structures
Fuselage structures
Empennage structures
Other primary and secondary aircraft components
Design and validate repairs using equivalent strength and stiffness methodologies while meeting demanding production schedules.
Make authoritative technical recommendations that significantly influence engineering and manufacturing activities.
Develop improved methods, standards, and procedures that optimize product quality, cost, and schedule performance.
Lead investigations into complex structural issues where established engineering precedents may not exist.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Design Engineering, and Production Operations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to advancements in structural engineering practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 15 years of dedicated Structures MRB Engineering experience with a recognized aerospace manufacturer.
Extensive experience creating and justifying engineering dispositions for structural nonconformances.
Demonstrated expertise with:
Composite aircraft structures
Metallic aircraft structures
Pressurized aircraft structures
Non-pressurized aircraft structures
Experience supporting all major aircraft assemblies, including Wing, Fuselage, and Empennage structures.
Proven ability to rapidly analyze structural conditions and develop repair solutions in a production or schedule-driven environment.
Strong understanding of structural strength, stiffness, and airworthiness requirements.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
Experience serving as a technical authority on complex structural repair and disposition activities.
Previous leadership experience guiding engineering teams through high-impact technical challenges.
Demonstrated success developing engineering standards, best practices, and innovative repair methodologies.
Expertise working within aircraft production environments focused on quality, safety, and delivery commitments.
Advanced Degree Experience Credit
Applicable advanced degrees may be considered toward experience requirements:
Master's Degree: Up to 2 years of experience credit
PhD: Up to 4 years of experience credit
