Amida Care is a private, not-for‐profit health plan providing coverage and coordinated care to New York City Medicaid members with chronic conditions, including HIV/AIDS and behavioral health disorders. We serve Medicaid recipients who are living with HIV/AIDS or people who are homeless or of transgender experience (regardless of HIV status). People with complex health conditions need access to providers with specialized knowledge, and Amida Care offers a wide network of top health care providers. As the largest Medicaid special needs health plan (SNP) in New York State, Amida Care has improved health care quality and reduced costs by developing innovative care management programs.

The Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) lives up to its name. It specializes in providing orthopedic, rheumatology, and rehabilitation specific surgery services. Founded in 1863, HSS is well-known for its services in musculoskeletal medicine. The hospital has more than 170 beds and a medical staff of 275-plus health care providers. Specialized centers include the Osteoporosis Prevention Center, the Women's Sports Medicine Center, and the Institute for Cartilage Repair. The hospital also conducts research in the areas of musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases. HSS is a member of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System and is affiliated with the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
The primary teaching hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center attends to the health care needs of residents of the Bronx and nearby Westchester County. The health system operates three main hospitals with about 1,500 beds, more than 100 ambulatory care offices, a children's hospital, and Centers of Excellence in cancer care, cardiovascular services, pediatrics, transplantation, and neurosciences. Additionally, it operates a home health care agency as well as outpatient facilities that provide ambulatory and diagnostic services.
