I have been working at MicroStrategy full-time (Less than a year)
Incredibly smart, creative and passionate workforce and true belief by many, many folks in the MicroStrategy platform strength and market potential. A focus on excellence combined with a belief in face to face interaction as much as possible. Some great hires recently across the business. Culture is very results and KPI focused - truly a data driven attitude - can cut both ways but mostly positive.
Company is still working through the right mix of field empowerment and top down direction and strategy--- both are needed and leadership sometimes can lurch a bit between them or be impatient with the time and effort required to move from idea to execution to institutionalized business practice. Also work to do on moving from a pure technology to business solution focus --- and finding the right mix of both.
I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at MicroStrategy (Tyson's Corner, Fairfax, VA) in October 2017.
Applied via Indeed. Contacted by a recruiter, phone screen with recruiter, online assessments which were not that bad. Second phone interview with manager, then on site with members of the team and managers. Overall positive and professional experience. HR was responsive and flexible. Overall process lasted about 1.5 months
