    Pros

Flexible work/life balance. Great culture, great campus to work in. It will be interesting how things go after the acquisition.

    Cons

Lots of uncertainty since the acquisition, but hopefully the old culture will remain somewhat intact.

I have been working at CA Technologies full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Genuinely interested in its people but bottom line is growth
    Good work life balance
Workplace is enthusiastic, many sponsored events
Pay is good, comparable or better than other companies for the same position

    Cons

    Far too many management levels
Agile Methodology is not right for certain business areas but is for others - tops down enforcement does not make sense
Don't pretend to be an Agile driven company when management still plans from Right to Left
Getting rid of telecommuting decreases moral. Again, one size does not fit all - enforce work from office where necessary or be a bit more flexible
CA moved away from allowing the "do-ers" recommend improvement to management driven initiatives which are not always the priority work, but someone up top wants something

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people, lower levels of management need more of a backbone to stand up to what is right to do vs. jumping when asked to
