Pros

Good pto once you're there long enough Variance of job duties Great job for someone out of school learning

Cons

No shift did, or additional pay for working weekends or later hours. Open all holidays. No rotating, not enough staff. expected to work them ALL! Unappreciative management Don't go by "orange book" Understaffed, never enough Patients are a number, not quality health care Constant changes throughout constant buy outs bc they are constantly loosing money due to poor upper management No breaks which is ILLEGAL! No consistency changes every day. Not professional everyone knows your business from management personnel to other colleagues New procedures, new policies. Logs for logs. Outgoing lab takes 4 logs on paper of writing info, even though they spend thousands on EMR SYSTEMS waste money on things not even used such as computers, hard drives, just collecting dust Hires cnas to do a nurses job to save money!!!! Drama, everyone talks about everyone, including management to other colleagues.

Pros

Work from home Mon -Fri

Cons

Management prioritizes unrealistic production metrics over the quality of patient care and employee well-being. The caseload is incredibly high, often forcing you to handle over a hundred workers' compensation cases simultaneously. This volume is made worse by constant IT system lags and an inadequate network of orthopedic doctors, leaving you stuck between frustrated patients and unhelpful insurance adjusters. Management offers very little support, relying on micromanagement to hit numbers rather than addressing the root causes of burnout. The compensation is also too low for the immense level of stress and volume required.
