I have been working at REI Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They provide opportunities to grow and develop in the areas you are looking to develop in. They provide mentors, resource managers and professional development time off so you can pursue and develop parts of your skillset that are meaningful to you.

    Cons

I really enjoy Omni-Graffle and Apple. They almost exclusively use Dell.

I worked at REI Systems full-time

    Pros

They did have flexible hours and advertise a work life balance

    Cons

Plays Favorites, if you work in the "back office" blame is put on you, also considered considered a "step child" employee if working in the back office, organizationally disorganized

    Advice to Management

close the gap of the us vs them mentality in the different offices. Treat all employees fairly and equally.

    Pros

    Room for growth
    Adopting Agile Methodologies
Trying to update framework to ASP.NET MVC, Angular

    Cons

    Overworked
Setup as BAs, Testers, and Developers....Hard to be Agile with these jobs..normally just developers. This causes disconnects between the BAs, testers, and developers that hinder the work and timing of things getting done
Transitioning from waterfall method :/ Will never be true agile due to client having hard deadlines meaning you will be swamped with work the last week before release
Harder now that you have to communicate with other companies about the same project having certain bugs..

I have been working at REI Systems full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay raises that aren't just cost of living adjustments, most benefits, training resources,

    Cons

Healthcare options aren't as good for some prescription drugs

    Advice to Management

Continue initiatives to hire the best people for jobs, whether internal or external. Continue initiatives to ensure promotions are going by merit, not seniority. Morale is way up with people who qualify for their titles at the helm.
