I have been working at Sam's Club part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

For better hours and flexibility, they really work with you. The pay is very well especially if you have a certain goal you’re trying to reach.

    Cons

Your team leaders and coaches are very fair, however it gets too busy sometimes and you can’t really get any help from anyone.

    Pros

Opportunities are given if you prove yourself, similar to other jobs.

    Cons

Management can be messy. Scheduling can be all over the place, but if you bug the managers about your hours they look into and can be lenient about it.

I worked at Sam's Club full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I hated working at the Sioux City location and assumed all samsclub would be the same. When I took a job at the Davenport location it was night and day difference. I really enjoyed working with almost everyone on staff. Great management and associate team. They're taking a lot of great steps technologically but it's not uncommon for them to reorganize management level positions and have people lose their jobs. I was happy and regret leaving for more money and better benefits because a good culture is quite valuable.

    Cons

Pay was decent, benefits sucked- way too expensive, time off was good though. You worked 55 to 65 hours a week.

    Advice to Management

Quit trying things that mess with people's jobs and lives and then realize it doesn't work and go back to a previous way.
