I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fisher Investments in Jan 2011
Interview
The interview process was actually very pleasant. It was a series of 4 one-on-one interviews with various managers from the department. They seemed to be genuinely interested in me personally and professionally. The interview seemed well balanced - it seemed more like a discussion than an interview, which made me feel more comfortable.
The communication with the recruiter post-interview was less than ideal. The time frame given for a response was a few weeks. It was very difficult to get in touch with the recruiter via e-mail. There was no courtesy "Thanks, but no thanks" e-mail or letter.
One interview, some technical questions, they interview tons of people and only select 1 person at college campuses. Interview was average difficulty and had some personal questions and some technical questions.
Pretty straight forward interview asking about my experience and how it pertains to this exact role. Asked about why interested in working at Fisher and how experience i am with various platforms. Overall pretty standard
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2023
Interview
There was an initial phone interview which was very informal and that a formal Zoom interview where you where asked more in-depth questions and told a more detailed description of the job.
